Following on from our article in August, the Committee are delighted to announce ......

that we have been successful in our application and have been awarded a grant of £10,000 from Awards for all (The Lottery). This money will be used to improve the site by designing and creating a Community Orchard and Composting Area. We were equally succsesful in our bid in 2011, which enabled us to purchase and equip the Learning Centre.

 

We will use the funds to create a communal space at the north end of the site as shown in the pictures below.

More details will be released, when we have received the monies and more detailed plans have been drawn up for discussion by our gardeners.
